Kicking Horse Coffee has partnered with the Golden Ultra to give runners fuel to stick to their training plans. Everybody registered for the Golden Ultra will get chances to receive some sweet black gold to help them stick to their training plans.
Kicking Horse Coffee is roasted only 120 km south of Golden, in Invermere, BC. The pass and river for which the coffee is named are on the main thoroughfare to Golden, with the Kicking Horse River flowing right through the town and past the start line of The Sweat and The Tears.
“I know I’m going to run in the Golden Ultra, but this contest is totally motivating me to register right away,” says Golden runner Billie Velisek, “I work long days on my feet as a baker so sometimes I really need that extra cup of coffee to get out for my evening run. Having a couple pounds of coffee to get me through the dark and cold winter... awesome!”
