Cruise - 12 km
Cruise is the third and final stage of the Half Pint. Call it a victory lap if you will.
Looping through the CBT Mainline trail network, cruise uses the CBT mainline trail to ascend 250 m before the whoops and berms of Mighty Quinn drop runners back to town level. Beautiful views of the Columbia and Kicking Horse rivers make the last kms painless.

This could be you!
Got a dog that has the competition twitch? New in 2019 we’re adding friendly run-loving poochies into the Golden Ultra mix! Register your dog here and plan to start at 9:25 AM (15 minute after the main event). This is the only stage/event in the Golden Ultra that is dog friendly - they’ll also get their own finisher award!
Conditions and Rules: (‘cause we gotta have some)
Your dog must remain on leash in the start corral and in all town areas (town bylaws).
Your pooch should be friendly with other dogs - sometimes ya just gotta say it!
While you’ll still qualify for the Cruise podium spots via chip time you will have to start at the pooch start time.
All poochies get a finisher award!
Doggos are only welcome on the cruise course (this offer is not good for any other Golden Ultra distance).
